The John Henry Taylor Scholars Program (JHTS) is designed
for underrepresented students who are pursuing degrees in
the fields of math and science or related disciplines. John
Henry Taylor Scholars are provided an opportunity to become
involved in a variety of academic support activities, including
individual and group tutorials, study groups, study skills
and problem solving workshops, mentoring, academic advising
and graduate school and career guidance. In addition, the
program is designed to assist academically talented students
to get the most out of their college education and provide
them with opportunities for leadership, leading to graduate
school and/or careers in technical fields.
John Henry Taylor Scholars are encouraged to participate
in the five-week Summer Enrichment Program (SEP), at no cost,
during the summer immediately preceding their freshman year.
